Scaffolding Learning for Secondary English Learners

September 9th at 6:00 PM EST
Recording will be available to all registered participants.

Join our colleague, Tan Huynh, as he offers some insights and strategies for supporting your students in this new webinar!

Middle and high school multlinguals are capable of learning grade-level content. If teachers integrate strategies that make content comprehensible, then students will be able to engage with the content.  Tan will share strategies he uses as a social studies teacher with a language specialist background to make content comprehensible.  For the webinar, participants will walk away with specific practices that make texts, videos, and teacher presentations more comprehensible.

We often think about teacher collaboration in terms of co-teaching. However, for co-teaching to be effective, we need to maximize co-planning.
